Dear Motorsport Enthusiast,
Truro and District Motor Club has been in existence for around 80 years. Recently in the last 2-3 years the club has experienced membership difficulties in numbers and people willing to serve on the committee, until just recently when at the last moment the TDMC was in real danger of folding some dedicated former members and committee people again got together and sat down to try and save the club from folding.
In the last 6 months its now beginning to once again take shape with the formation of a new committee and old members coming back to join what was once a thriving Cornish Motor Club. We still need a few more non-competitor members to join the new committee but we are getting there. The Club is busy working at re-establishing the Tregrehan Hillclimb link with the current landowner and this is showing real promise, with hill refurbishments being built into the plan.
Unless we continue to put on events at Predannack we are at risk of losing what can only be considered as on of our very best circuits, I know its a long way down the county, but when you drive the track at Predannack the extra journey becomes worth while. Please support this venue as West Country Motorsport needs sites such as this.
